Police Officer Position Open (Lateral Position)
The Kendallville Police Department is taking applications from certified police officers to fill a currently open Patrol Officer position.  Applicants must be currently certified in the State of Indiana or hold a full-time certification in another state and eligible to receive a waiver for the Indiana certification.

Applicants must be a United States citizen, at least 21 years old and currently a member of the Indiana 1977 pension fund or eligible for the pension fund , vision correctable to 20/50, possess a valid driver license, high school diploma or GED, and must successfully pass all required tests, investigations, and records inquiries. 

The hiring process includes Comprehensive Background Investigation, Voice Stress Analysis Test, Physical Examination, Psychological Examination, and Interview Board.
