Help Wanted - Seasonal Openings
We are currently accepting applications for lifeguards, maintenance, concession workers and camp counselors.  Maintenance workers need to be at least 18 years of age. Please apply at the Kendallville Park Department.

Fulltime Firefighter Position Open
The City of Kendallville Fire Department is currently accepting applications for a fulltime firefighter. An application pack may be downloaded here. Minimum requirements are FFI/II, Medical First Responder, Haz-Mat Awareness/Operations, ICS 100, 200, 700, 800. Must be able to meet all requirements for 1977 Police and Fire Pension. Pay range is $37,977.72 - $47,266.82. Applications must be turned into the Clerk-Treasurers Office by 3:00 PM on May 31, 2019.

Patrol Officer Positions Open
The Kendallville Police Department is announcing the opening of the hiring process to fill current open Patrol Officer positions.  Additional consideration will be given to applicants currently certified in the State of Indiana or certified in another state and able to qualify for the Indiana certification waver.

Full-Time Dispatcher Positions Open
The Kendallville Police Department Communications Center is accepting applications for Full-Time Dispatchers. Extensive use of computer programs required, excellent communication skills are necessary along with the ability to multi-task, previous dispatch experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a thorough background check, interview process, hearing test and a psychological evaluation. Be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime and varying shifts as needed. Pay after 6 months' probation is $21.18 an hour.
