Police Officer Position Open
The Kendallville Police Department is announcing the opening of the hiring process to fill a currently open Patrol Officer position.

Applicants must be a United States citizen, at least 21 years old but not yet 36 years old when hired, vision correctable to 20/50, possess a valid driver license, high school diploma or GED, and must successfully pass all required tests, investigations and records inquiries. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who are currently certified as a police officer in Indiana or certified in a state eligible for an Indiana waiver.

The hiring process includes Agility and Written Tests, Comprehensive Background Investigation, Voice Stress Analysis Test, Physical Examination, Psychological Examination, and Interview Board.  Written test and agility testing will take place on October 13, 2018 at 1:00p.m. for those qualifying.
